Sorry About Not Posting

We have been so busy with all of our visitors that I haven't had the chance to post. We spent a lot of time with Nani and Poppa last week and this week has been spent with Nani, Poppa, and Stephi. Nani and Poppa are still here in Lakeland but have been giving us time with Steph while they do their own thing.
Stephi arrived Monday and has been doing great. She is still suffering through morning sickness but says it hasn't been that bad since she's been here. I had her diaper bag waiting for her when she arrived filled to the brim and every pocket stuffed with goodies for her baby.
I have taken on waiting Isaiah 3 days a week for awhile since his great-grandma has been very sick with spinal meningitis. I love Isaiah and am very happy to have him with me.
Steph and I are taking all three kids to the zoo for the day and I know they will enjoy that. I really love the Freinds of the Zoo card that my grandparents got me and plan to use it frequently with the kids. After everything settles down, Teresa and I are planning on taking the kids as well.
Taylor is starting up with a homeschooling group that includes field trips and science classes at a local children's museum in town. I have teamed up with another homeschooling mom that I met at Jimmy's T-Ball and we will start working together as much as possible since this is her first year homeschooling and she is new to the area. It's not that often that I actually meet another person who does what I do and with her children both being Tay and Jim's age, it works out great. I am very happy with my decision to start doing this.

Our Big Suprise

Sorry there has been no posts in a few days but we had a huge suprise Tuesday when Poppa and Nani showed up at our door for a visit. How great is that 2 weeks of visitors since Steph will be here Monday. We have gone out to eat the past two nights and Nani and I enjoyed a day at the casino while Poppa watched the kids. Taylor and Jimmy stayed the night with them last night in the fifth-wheel. It is the first time in a while that I have been total by myself since Eric is in Philadelphia.

It has been great having them here and we are trying to figure out what our agenda is going to be today. I am not sure how long they will be staying, but I am very glad they made the trip out here. They really like the Lakeland area and they came out at the right time since the weather has been awesome this week.

I can't wait to see my sister next week and I know she is excited to come out. She is a little scared to ride on the plane because of how sick she has been with the pregnancy, but she can't wait to get here. I plan to take her to the zoo once she gets here and we have a few other things planned as well. I will try to get some pictures on within the next couple of days.

Happy Valentine's

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to post yesterday but I hope everybody had a great day. Our day was pretty uneventful, we did the usual, school, house cleaning, laundry, holiday have become just any other day. Eric brought me home a beautiful arrangement of roses, I was pleased. We love each and everyone of you and miss you all very much (but not your 3 degree weather.)

Happy Valentine's Day

A day at the Park

Here is a shot of the kids from our day at the park. These are now the types of pictures that will be added to this site now that the kids will have their very own, I will post family photos here. I hoep this isn't too much for all but I figured that they deserved their very own.

Baby Shopping

I had so much fun Saturday shopping for my sister's baby and boy was it fun. Diaper bag, formula, diapers, wipes, outfits, burp cloths, shoes, bibs, piggy bank and hand print molds. This baby will be so spoiled by it's Auntie Joey and I can't wait to see it's pretty little face. My sister is very excited for her new arrival and has been still experiencing the not so fun part of pregnancy, morning sickness.

We are so excited for her arrival and have a lot of fun things planned: lunch at Crispers, a trip to the zoo and her first trip to a casino. We can't wait to have you here Steph, we all miss you a bunch!

Jimmy's New Site

I have been working hard the last couple of days on a new site for Jimmy. I have added ultrasound photos, baby pictures and many memories of his life. I will keep this up from now on and everything just concerning him with be posted there. I am getting ready to start one for Taylor as well, but I figured his wouldn't take so long, I only had 4 years to catch up on. I will let everyone know when Tay's site is up as well. I have added his site to my favorite links, so please check it out.

Happy Birthday Izabel

Happy first birthday Izabel Grace! I hope your day was the most perfect and I wish you many, many more great birthdays. You are a very special little girl that deserves nothing but the best in life.

Love,

Cousin Eric, Joey, Taylor & Jimmy

Due Date

Stephanie's due will be Monday, October 1, 2007, she is now 6 weeks pregnant. I am so excited, she will be here in just a couple weeks and I cannot wait to see her. When we were discussing it this morning Jimmy asked if she would be bringing the baby, so we had to explain that the baby will live in her tummy for awhile and he would be able to see it when it is born. I told him when she gets here he can talk to her belly and the baby would be able to hear him talk, that seemed to satisfy him enough.

Weekend in Review

Our weekend was very full and we just stayed home. Jimmy was sick over the weekend, running a fever, had a cough and runny nose, but is feeling much better today. Last night was the first night in a few days that he was able to sleep through the night, which was nice for me.

Taylor was ungrounded by Saturday and enjoyed playing with her friend Rachel, who showed up in the morning and never left that day. She had dinner with us and then decided to stay the night. By the time I woke up Sunday morning the girls had already headed over to Rachel's house and I didn't see Taylor again until the evening.

Eric and I spent a lot of the weekend cleaning and doing laundry, but we had a great weekend.

I want to post more on Stephi and her pregnancy. She has started experiencing the great joys of morning sickness and has made it known that she does not like this part. Steph is about 7 to 8 weeks pregnant right now and already has picked out the baby's name. She has started a new job at Fantastic Sam's and is now working with Rachel's older sister Angie. Angie and I had our baby's a day apart (Jimmy and A.J.), we were both 3 weeks early and were actually due a day apart as well. Steph has become tired and has been resting a lot lately. I am so excited for her and can't wait to see my little neice or nephew. I plan on making the trip to KC for the shower and the birth, I will be there two weeks prior to the birth so I do not miss it. I am sorry the guy in Topeka is sick but I hope he hurries and retires so we can get back there before the baby is born, I want to be a part of it's life like my sister is such a big part of my children's lives. I will keep updates on her throughout her pregnancy.

Just a reminder, tomorrow is Izabel's first birthday. I can't believe it has already been a year, time flies and they grow so fast. I hope you are enjoying you trip to Arizona and you had a great first airplane ride.
