This picture was taken at Panama Beach one cold morning. It seems it was cold the whole time we travelled, but was very warm when we finally arrived in KC.

Time to Move On

The kids and I arrived home yesterday morning and loved being greeted by Eric at the airport. The flight was great and the kids slept most of the way...we had to be on the plane at 6:40 a.m. Eric took us all out for lunch when we arrived and we spent the day with the kids outside. We have a busy weekend planned, The Strawberry Festivial starts tomorrow and we will be there and Sunday we have to buy the kids new beds and then we are headed for St. Petersburg to spend the day at the beach. I am pooped and still have to start packing...YUK! Well, all in all, it is nice to be home again and able to spend time with my family, we all missed Eric a lot. Thanks Mom and Kyle for allowing us to invade your space for two weeks, I really enjoyed it and I know Chip and Jimbob loved it too. Jimmy and Taylor had a lot of bonding with Grandpa Ky-Ky, he spent almost every evening playing with them and even gave them some golfing tips. Everyone spoiled the kids rotten, Aunt Ste had a new toy it seemed everytime she saw them. Steph spent the most time with the kids which they both loved, they want all the time with her they can get. I am glad they have such a great relationship with her. Uncle Nick did play with the kids as well and even took them to the park one day. Nani took them shopping and to Chuck E. Cheese's and they both had a blast whenever they were with Nani. Jimmy was sad to leave her behind, he told me as we walked to the plane that we forgot her and had to wait and when we arrived in Tampa the first thing out of his mouth when we stepped off the plane, "Okay, where's Nani at?" I am glad they had fun and I love seeing everyone too and can't wait until May.

I have 1 week to get everything packed for the move and all I have managed today was DVD's, I cannot motivate myself. Eric has hurt his back and is having a hard time moving around so until that's better I am on my own. We are excited to get to our new place, it is just coming so quickly and I am not prepared.

Eric thank you for all the goodies you got me while I was gone, I loved them all. You are so good to me and I am glad I have you in my life. After being gone I realized we have fell into the old married routine and I enjoyed talking to you on the phone, it was almost like we were getting to know each other again.

Coming Close to the End

Our trip is drawing towards the end and we have such mixed feelings. Eric was not able to make it here but is waiting for us at home. We hate leaving everyone, it seems like we had such little time, but we miss home as well. We spend some time with Maw Maw on Saturday and spend the whole day with mom and Kyle yesterday had a wonderful Italian feast last night. We are taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's again tomorrow because Mom took the day off to spend with us and I have dedicated Wednesday to Nani and I hope Angie and Matt can make it over there as well.

We will be back in May definately for Nick and Rachel's graduation and plan to stay a couple weeks. Just waiting for Nick to find the exact date so we can book our tickets quickly. So, we will only be away for a couple months before we return again.

BTW, Nick's CD is out and ready for purchase, it has been copyrighted and ready to go. Check out Undergrounds website and take a listen to a few of the songs, he won't disappoint. I didn't get to see a show while I was here but I did watch his DVD of the show, they are so good. March 10th is their 2nd round in the Battle of the Bands, which they took 1st place last time around. He needs the support, so show up to GroundWorks and give them your vote.

Tribute To Zeus

The Jenkins lost their beloved German Shepard Zeus Friday afternoon and I would like to say I am sorry. Zeus was a huge part of their family and he was a great dog. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and we all are very sad that he is gone, but he will remain forever in our memories and hearts. I am sorry Allan, Renee, Jordan and Delaney, he was one of the best dogs anyone could have, you gave him a great family and he knew that he was loved deeply, he had a great life. Bye Zeus, we love and miss you!

I did enjoy watching him the last time Renee and Allan were in Vegas (that was when I came into town last August.) He was so sad that they were gone and I was scared that he was sick, but he ended up perking up to his old self as soon as they came home. I am not a dog person as most of you know, but there were two dogs that have captured my heart: Midnight and Zeus. I am saddened that the two dogs that I have opened my heart to are now gone. I miss the both of you and hope you both are happy and looking after each other for us. It's funny how what starts off as a pet becomes so much a part of you and can break your heart into a million pieces when they are gone. I'm glad I had the chance to have my heart broke because it would be empty without knowing you.

Bonding with My Sister

I have decided next week I am taking Stephanie to get her first tattoo and we will share this experience together. I have been talking about another one forever and a day now so I am finally going to take the plunge and get one dedicated to Jimmy on my back and I will probably finish my mural on my leg while I'm there or else it will never get done. Steph is wanting to get a rat tattoo and has found her picture. She's a little nervous but excited to get inked, hehehe, she thinks this will be her only one and she won't want another...we have all said that. This will be my eighth and once I finish the mural it will be 11, wow, I can't believe I have that many, I just had to count. Anyway, I will let everyone know about our experience and I will make sure to post the pics of our tats on this page so everyone can get a look.

P.S. Don't call and complain to me that I don't need anymore because I will hang up on anyone who does.

Chuck E Cheese

Today I got to spend the day with Stephi, Brett, Taylor & Jimmy. They invited me to Chuck E Cheese and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I loved watching the kids have fun and playing and it was the first time I let Jimmy have full rein. I handed him a cup of tokens and he did very well using them himself and then collecting any tickets he had won. I have a hard time letting him be a big boy and today was very hard not being able to help him out, but I know he is older and that it's time for me to let him become his own person. The kids walked away with 830 tokens...WOW! We got pictures which I will post when I return home. Thank you Steph for letting me join in with you guys, I had a blast.

A Night in Toyko

Last night was our dinner at The Japanese Tokyo Steakhouse and it was fabulous. Dad, Nick, Stephi, Brett, Taylor and I enjoyed all the entertainment of watching our Japanese chef, who was the best I have ever seen. He had a lot of fun with Chip and picked on her the entire time he was at the table. Nick enjoyed a marathon shrimp throwing contest in which he caught none of them, the chef threw about 12 shrimp at him as fast as he could, but it was a lot of fun to watch.

It was the first time for Dad, Brett and Stephi and they all really enjoyed themselves. I was glad to see dad and really wasn't planning on Tay going but about an hour before I had to leave my mom came into my room and told me that Taylor was feeling left out, so I told her she could come along and changed our reservations. I am so glad she came, but the last time Eric and I took her she didn't like it, but this this time she loved it.

Thank you Dad for taking us, it was wonderful and I'm sorry you didn't get to experience the sushi, but at least you got to try the saki. Happy Adoption Day 18 years later.

Getting Ready for the Move

We finally got a new place to live and will be moving the middle of March. The kids and I are flying home on March 4th which gives me time to pack before we go. We actually found this place before I left and I spent most of our drive down here getting Eric on the ball to reserve it and he finally did. The kids are so excited to have new rooms. I have the address now and will be happy to give it to anyone who needs it because we will not be listed in any directories. We are ready for a new place and will have a lot more room, and for you who are freaking out that we are moving, we are signing a short lease because Eric thinks we will be back within the next 6-7 months...YEA!

Meeting Baby Izabel

We finally met Izabel last night when Greg and Alisha came by for a visit and she was so tiny and so very cute. I really enjoyed seeing Alisha and Greg again as well, it's been awhile since I've seen them. Alisha looked very good and they are all doing well, they are very proud of their little girl.

Taylor and Jimmy both loved the baby and they both were able to hold her. Jimmy kept was constantly rubbing her head and said many times that "Izabel was so cute."

Thank you guys for bringing her by and I will stop by on Tuesday to visit and see the new house. We all enjoyed seeing you, we'll just have to do it on a more normal basis instead of no contact for a couple years. See you soon.

So Much To Talk About

First off, I forgot to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you all had a wonderful day and evening.

Today is my eighteenth birthday being a Marshall. This day means as much to me as my actual birthday because I received a great father on this day. He has done so much for me throughout the years and continues to this day...thank you Dad.

I had a great first night back, I got to see my Mom, Kyle, Stephi, Nick and Brett. The kids were ready to head out the door to go see all the animals at Brett and Stephi's. I really felt like I had never even left, this is definately home. I dropped in on Renee last night and gave her a suprise. OMG, I could not believe how big Delaney had gotten, when she opened the door I saw Jordan, it took me a moment to realize she was too short to be J. Jordan was surpised to see me and gave me the biggest hug I have ever gotten from her, I swear, I love those girls as if they were my own. I loved seeing Renee, I have missed her a lot and we decided to do what we do best...SHOP! We both had babies to buy for and I had to get the kids Valentine's, so we headed to the best store ever, Wal-Mart. We got some really cute stuff. I just really enjoyed seeing her again, it's hard not having your best friend around all the time.

When I got home I wrapped up the present that I bought for Izabel, yes, I bought her even more stuff. Greg and Alisha, I hope you have more room because I think I have bought out some stores. Get a hold of me soon so I can get this stuff to you, I might decide to keep it for myself lol.

I spent some time with mom last night, but it seems like everytime I start talking to her Eric calls and of course he gets upset if I tell him I'll have to call him back. I guess he thinks since they are seeing me he gets to talk to me all the time. I plan to spend tonight here with my kids and my mom, Lost is on and I can't miss that. I loved seeing my mom and now I feel so much better, I am definately not homesick anymore. I needed to be here and am so happy now that I am, I look forward to spending all the time I can with her...I love you mom and thank you for letting us stay with you. I enjoyed seeing her this morning before she left for work, I didn't have to stand around and wait for her to get there so I could call her. We sat on her bed and had a cig before she had to leave, it was nice.

I was up late last night talking to Eric, who has been spending most of his spare time on the computer. He has also learned how easy it is to spend money by internet, he has been spoiling me and getting me lots of gifts that he orders from there. He is a great husband and has always done everything in his power to make me happy. I love my life with him and the children he has provided me. Eric, I love and miss you a lot, even though you think I don't because I'm here, I am thinking about you constantly.

We Made It!

We have finally arrived in KC today. It was a long trip, but we had a lot of fun. Our first stop was in Panama City, Florida and we just stayed one night because it was so cold. We spent a few days Louisana at a casino RV park, which we spent some time gambling. I took the kids on our last day there to Roxy's Diner which is located inside the casino and got them ice cream at 10 o'clock in the morning. Last night we made it to Arkansas and I think everyone was on there last rope, there was a lot of snapping at each other going on, but we knew we would make it here soon. We started off early this morning and made it to KC around 2:00 p.m.

Stephi, Nick and Brett greeted us at Mom's when we arrived and it was great to see everyone. It is almost 70 degrees here and Stephi and Brett took the kids to the park so I could relax in the tub. Nick also has his demo ready and let me listen to that, it sounds great. I can't wait to see everyone, but right now I am so tired and waiting for my mom to get home from work...she has beef and noodles on yum yum.

Eric might be heading this way next thursday from Philly, which will be great. I need to find him a ticket and I can't wait to see him now. I have been talking to him everyday at lunch and then before I go to bed, but we miss each other a lot. Jimmy decided on our second on the road that he wanted to go home and then the other night he started worrying about Gabby and wanted to see her. So, Eric misses us and is ready to head this way, hopefully I can find a flight on Southwest for him.

We planned to come up again in April but had to change our plans because Nick's graduation is in May and I can't miss that. My baby brother is getting his diploma, can you believe it, he's growing up. He will turn 18 April 11 the day before Jimmy's 4th birthday. Hope to see you soon if you are out here. The Countdown is On

We are taking off tomorrow morning and heading for Panama City, FL. We are packed and all the electronic devices are charging for the trip. The kids started pulling out DVD's to watch along the way and we pulled out all the games for the Nintendo. I plan to buy them new games if we happen to stop at a Wal-Mart so they can have something new and Nani picked the kids up Bambi 2.

I cannot wait to see everyone and the new addition to our family. For those of you who do not know about The Jack Site, you can go to my favorite links and click on it, Greg has added many cute pictures of Izabel...she is such a doll. We still have a lot to do before we start out on the road, but it's so exciting.

Renee, I can't wait to see you. I did get your email yesterday and you have me laughing...since your birthday I am noticing a little impatience with the age...hahaha, you know I'm kidding. I will be back home soon, Eric is working on getting the Lenexa store that will soon be moving to Lee Summit, so hopefully within the year we will be home. No more getting upset with me when you see me posting about homes, it's for rental only and nothing we cannot get out of. Of course, when we move back it will be closer to everyone and not so far out.

Next week we'll be back and making our rounds. I did get dad to change his mind about seafood and now he's taking me to Japanese...I am so excited, Japanese food out here sucks. Love you all and I will post when I make it to KC. I will have my cell phone, so everyone can get ahold of me on that or by calling my mom's home, if you don't have those numbers, too bad, I'm not posting them here...hehehe. Love ya all.

Happy Birthday Izabel Grace

Greg and Alisha Jack welcomed their daughter Izabel Grace into the world February 6 at 4:30 p.m. Izabel weighed in at 6 lbs. 14 oz. and measured in at 19 inches long. She is a beautiful baby just as we knew she would be. Uncle Murdock is holding her in the pic above. Congrats Greg and Alisha, she's beautiful.

Close to Departure

I talked to Nani on the phone this morning and found out we are starting back this Thursday.We have a few stops along the way, we are planning to spend some time in Panama City, Florida and The French Quarters in Louisanna. It won't be long and I will be home. Eric is getting to the point that he doesn't want me to leave, so I had to promise I wouldn't be gone more than 1 month. He is such a great guy for not giving so many problems about going back so often, he knows how close I am to my family. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and I love him so much and will miss him while I'm gone. The kids are so excited, even though we are leaving right before Taylor's friend's birthday and she was looking forward to the party, but she would much rather have her Aunt Ste. See you all soon.

Awaiting Word on Izabel

Alisha was induced today and we are all awaiting word of Izabel's arrival. I will post pictures of her as soon as they become available. We are so excited for Greg and Alisha, Izabel is a very lucky little girl to have such wonderful people as parents.

Like the Old Days

I felt like a kid again with Poppa and Nani here this morning with the sugu cooking and having the traditional Italian family dinner. Nani and I spent the morning in the kitchen cooking our hearts out and Poppa cooked the chicken on the grill. Dinner was fabulous.

Eric and Poppa started watching the Superbowl, so Nani and I decided we would head to the Indian casino again so we wouldn't be bored. Off we go and ready to win. We played and played and then we hit it big and as we were walking out the door this huge Indian with war paint on his face and a big tamahawk with feathers hanging down came running after us and said he would scalp us if we didn't hand the money over. Not really, we never won, but that is what we decided to tell the guys since we were only gone about 1 1/2 hours. We had fun spending time together and we really wanted to stop for a coke on the way home, but guess what, we were both totally broke, but boy did we laugh on the way home.

It was a good day and I am really enjoying them being around, takes away some of the home sickness.

A Night Out

I had a great day with Poppa and Nani, they came and picked me up this morning and we drove to The Hard Rock Casino in Tampa and gambled our lives away (not really.) I decided before I left an amount that I would spend and stuck to it, to the exact amount. If you can't tell, I won nothing and either did they and I will probably not go back, but it was a lot of fun spend the time with them. I will go to the casinos in KC, they are much better.

When we got back home Eric and Jimmy were outside playing with they're toys and Nani snapped some pictures of Jimmy in his Jeep. They headed back to the RV park so Eric and I could get ready. They offered to watch the kids so Eric and I could have a night out with each other. We didn't know what we were going to do without kids, it's been so long since we have went on a date, the last time was in September when I flew out to visit him.

They arrived around 7 P.M. and we headed out the door with the kids pushing us out so they could spend time with their Poppa and Nani. We decided to go to the Bedrock Cafe for dinner which is a seafood restaurant so I could have some oysters on the halfshell. It was a very nice dinner. Eric decided to start singing "It's A Small World" right when our drinks arrived and I about died of embarrassment, what a man. After dinner Eric decided to take me to my favorite place to shop...Books A Million. Stephen King has a new book and he knew I would like it. I could spend all day standing in that place flipping through all the SK books. We were planning to go to a local tattoo place, but it was getting late and decided I would get the next part of the mural (adding Flower the skunk from Bambi) some other day.

The kids seemed happy that we were home and Poppa and Nani sat around for awhile and we planned out what we were going to do for our Superbowl Sunday. They will be spending the day her and we are cooking chicken & steak spadini and basta and let the guys watch the tub for awhile. I think Nani enjoyed the computer and Poppa enjoyed the satellite tonight, of course Poppa got on the internet to look up houses for Eric and I in Lakeland.

Well, until tomorrow, I will finally stop boring everyone with my excitement, but thank you very much Poppa and Nani for giving us a night out, we needed it.

They Are Here

Poppa and Nani arrived yesterday evening around 6:00 p.m. We met them at there camping ground and all went to dinner at Olive Garden. It was so great to see them and we got to meet our new "Uncle" Rocky, who is so cute. The kids loved seeing them and Jimmy begged to stay with Nani Celli. Today they are moving to a new RV park because all the others are full, but it's a little closer to us. It was great to see family and they brought us some goodies that we cannot get here...Gates BBQ sauce, Wright's liquid smoke (great on pork chops) and Scimaca's Italian sausage (the Italian sausage down here is horrible.) I need to go get some chicken now so I can have some BBQ that is actually good. Eric and I went for some out here and Sonny's is suppose to be the best in Florida, it is about as good as the worst in KC, and Florida does not have burnt ends. When I get back I am going to have dinner at Smokehouse and have some real BBQ.

Of course, it's raining right now, it hasn't rained for several days, but since they are on vacation I guess that's the law. Hopefully it won't last long and we will be able to get out and visit some places. I really want to take them to Peterson Park to show off the alligator sign. For those of you I have not told, there is a lake in the park with a boardwalk, posted on the boardwalk is a sign letting you know the presence of alligators in the lake and then it goes on to tell you a little bit about the creatures finishing with a warning...DO NOT FEED OR MOLEST ALLIGATORS. Yes, it actually tells you not to molest them...who would try this. Eric and I were crying we were laughing so hard, but by molest I am guessing that they mean do not bother, because I don't know anyone stupid enough to do that in the term that the meaning is for us.

They are here and I am so happy! I don't know when exactly we will be heading back, but it shouldn't be too long. Them being here is just a step closer to getting home. Eric was happy to have family around since he has not spoken to his for several months and can't wait until he can get to KC in April. I will post soon and will keep posting while I am in KC, even though I don't think I will be able to post pictures until I get back. Love you all and I will see you soon.

Good Looking Family

I know, I know...old picture, but I think it's a great picture of all of us girls. Angie made a beautiful bride and she made sure the rest of us looked good as well. Lucky for us, she picked out good dresses. My little Taylor looked like a princess and Ang and I were so happy to find that dress, being the last one they had.

Lounging Kitty

This happens to be Gabby's favorite sleeping position, but as you can tell I woke her up before I could get the pic of her sleeping. She will prop herself up on anything (stairs, box, wall, couch) and take a snooze. She is a great cat and we love her. She will be turning a year old this month and has brought the kids a lot of fun times. Jimmy spends a lot of time playing with her (to us it looks like torture) but Gabby loves him and keeps coming back for more. I am glad Eric decided to get a kitten instead of us adopting a shelter cat, we made a good choice and the drive to pick her up was quite a trip for Vicky and me, but well worth it...we love our Gabriella DiFalco...the dago kitty.

Happy Birthday Kyle

Happy birthday to one of the best guys I know. Kyle came into our life 8 years ago and everyone is so glad he did, he has made my mom very happy. He is a great grandfather to my kids and Jimmy believes the world revolves around his grandpa Ky-Ky. Kyle has spent a lot of time in the garage fixing up cars and letting Jimmy help, many times they just detailed the Lexus. Jimmy cleans his Jeep and always makes sure to clean the wheels just like Grandpa Ky-Ky.

Kyle, I am glad you are part of our family, I couldn't of asked for a better step dad and grandpa for my kids. We love you and hope you have a terrific birthday and we'll see you soon.

Getting Ready

Poppa and Nani are planning on heading out tomorrow for the sunny state of Florida...I am so excited. This morning I spent getting all of Jimmy's school work ready for the time we spend in KC and hope I did enough to last. I am so ready to see some family and can't wait to head back with them, it has been years since I've travelled with them.

The last trip I took with Poppa, Nani, Mom, Stephi and Nick to South Dakota and I still remember sneaking into the Indian Casino when I was suppose to be watching the kids...hehehe, thank God for fake ID's huh and that I didn't get my butt beat for it. That was a very memorable trip for the fact that the day we got back Angie and I decided to cruise N. Oak and I met the man I am married to now.

So, in a couple weeks the kids and I will be back in KC and ready to see everyone and I hope you are ready for us. I was expecting to see Izabel but she is still holding on to the womb for dear life, so hopefully when she hears we're coming she'll decide I am travelling a long way to see her and loosen the grip a little. Oh and Alisha, I loved all those pictures, but the one of you when you were a kid, that's how I remember you and I had to smile, you were such a cute girl.

Stephi, I know you're excited for the kids, but I think they're more excited to see you. Jimmy can't wait to be back and help with those animals. I can't say the exact date I'll be back, but it will be so soon and we can't wait to see you. PS...you better talk, don't act like you've never met us before.

Mom, love you and can't wait to see you. It's getting so close and I am so excited, I miss you a lot. I'm glad you're feeling better and I can finally talk to you on the phone, I was really missing you all last week, especially when I called and all I got was a whisper. Get all better so the kids and I can give you a big kiss.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I don't have any recent pictures of my dad. but this will do. I was giving him a kiss before go to my first Homecoming Dance. Dad is spending his birthday in St. Louis on business, so I haven't got to wish him a happy birthday yet, but I will this evening.

My dad means a lot to me because he didn't have to be my dad. The first night I met him I was 4-years-old and he walked in to take my mom on a date. I ran to him and called him daddy right off the bat, which most 22-year-old men would have ran at that second, he never told me he wasn't and allowed me to be his daughter. He let me join in on dates with my mom and before to long we were living with him and he married my mom. At the age of 10 he adopted me and made me his own. He is a great father to me and I know he cares about me as much as his biological children. Thank you Daddy, I will never forget what you did for me. I love you bunches.

Taylor's Island

Taylor drew this island today. She is a very talented little artist, but she usually designs clothing. She wants to have a clothing line when she grows up and is very good at drawing up outfits with all the accessories.

Happy Birthday Nani

Nani, you are a terrific woman and everything I want to be. I have learned so much from you and love you more than I can ever express. I have so many memories of spending the weekends and summers with you, you have been there anytime I needed you or just gave me a listening ear when I needed to talk. I couldn't never have asked for a better grandma and I am so glad that you are mine. I am getting really excited to see you next week! Hope you have a wonderful birthday.

First CD Recorded

Nick's band Underground has just recorded their first CD. You can go to their website through my favorite links and listen to two of their songs, which are pretty darn good and I am not a big rock fan. Nick laughs at me a lot because I am a big fan of 80's & early 90's rock, which I guess if you didn't grow up in the time you're not crazy about that kind of rock 'n roll.

I am so proud of you and can't wait to see you perform. Taylor tells everyone that her Uncle Nick is famous hahah. One great thing about Nick is that he is so good at the gutair without one day of lessons. He has a great talent to play by ear, my sister Stephanie can do it too. I did not receive this gift, but I have always enjoyed listening to both of them play.

You can purchase Underground's CD for $5.00 from him. If you would like one of their first CDs you can get a hold of mom or let me know and I will get it for you. The more CD's sold gives them the money for more recording time. Just think, when they make it big you can say you had their first CD before they were big rock stars lol.

Happy Birthday Nay-Nay!

Today is my families dearest friend Renee's birthday. She has been a big part of our life for almost 5 years now. I met Renee when I worked at Jay's Learning Center and her daughter Jordan was one of my preschool students. Taylor and Jordan became fast best friends and then Renee gave birth to another daughter a few months after Jimmy was born and they are friends as well.

Thank you Renee for all that you have done for me and for being one hell of a friend...you know I love ya. What started off as play days for the girls has formed a strong lasting bond between our families, who would've thought.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday and many, many more. I can't wait to see you in a couple weeks.

I just got a picture of Taylor and Jimmy's friends TJ, Emily and Jon that will be posted shortly for those of you that have heard so much about them and now can put a face with the name. To Greg and Alisha

We are still awaiting the arrival of Izabel, who was rearing to go at the beginning of this month, but has decided she wants to hang on a little longer. From all the ultrasound pictures you can tell she is going to be a gorgeous baby girl and we all can't wait for her to get here.

I hated that I couldn't be at the shower, but the pictures were great. I'm glad you got so much and Greg putting the stroller together brought back memories. We had a playpen for Jimmy that we about threw out the door because we couldn't figure it out, I think when we finally figured out how to fold it up he had already grown out of it.

I am so happy for the two of you and know that you will make great parents and raise a wonderful little girl. She definately has a big family that loves babies, I bet the Jack grandparents are so happy to have 3 babies in one year, that's great! I check out your blog daily, hoping I will see a picture of a newborn baby girl with the title "Now Showing Babyzilla" lol.

The Beautiful Tater Chip

I took this picture yesterday while the kids were playing and I thought it looked pretty cool, almost like she is standing in front of a backdrop. The sun was setting, but as you can tell it was pretty cloudy yesterday, just made a great picture.

Jimmy's New Costume

Jimmy came downstairs last night with this Kleenex hanging out of his mouth. Eric and I asked him what he was doing with this in his mouth but we couldn't understand what he was saying, so I pulled it out of his mouth and asked him, "What are you doing?" He looked at us like we were crazy and replied, "I'm Santa Claus." Eric and I laughed so hard we were crying. I let Jimmy know how creative that was and placed the Kleenex back in his mouth and grabbed my camera so I could keep this memory forever. What a kid!

Little Mechanic

After a bit of a drive, Jimmy decided his Jeep was not running all that well and ran inside to get some tools. He spent some time working on the "engine" and tires and got it running like a charm again. I snapped a couple pictures but liked this one the best, the other one he was using a hand saw lol.

Say Cheeezzze!

Taylor has always hammed it up for the camera and nothing has changed, except she keeps getting bigger. Last night she pulled out her loose tooth all by herself (this is usually done by Aunt Ste.) She was so proud of herself for doing that and woke up to $5 in her tooth fairy pillow. She was trying to wait until she could have Aunt Ste pull it for her, but that darn tooth had plans of it's own, so there was no way she could wait and Mommy is a big chicken when it comes to pulling teeth, so Tay stepped up to the plate and did it herself. Way to go Chip!

Already Talking to the Ladies

I snapped this picture of Jimmy this morning while he was talking to Nani (my mom) on the phone. Eric and I bought him this hair because Taylor never shares hers with him. He had quite a conversation with mom today about everything under the sun. Last night they spent some time on the webcam. Our Cat

Gabby (Gabriella DiFalco) is our newest pet, we got her a couple months after moving to Florida. She has made the perfect pet for our family. Eric became very close to her while we were in KC, but after we returned she is back to following me around everywhere. This picture was taken during preschool and she decided she wanted to sit on Jimmy's box. Most the time she falls asleep next to the box during school but wakes up before I can snap a picture of her in her sleeping position, (she sleeps on her back with all fours in the air) it's really cute. Hopefully I will get that shot of her and will post it as soon as it happens.

Another Change in Plans

The kids and I have decided to make our trip to KC earlier than expected. We will be driving back with Poppa and Nani the first part of February. They have been planning a trip to Florida and the kids and I were going to fly out after they left, but now we will join them on the way back and fly home when we feel we have overstayed our welcome lol. Taylor has wanted to stay in the fifth wheel for awhile and now is her chance. We are very excited to see everyone and can't wait to get back.

Eric will be leaving for Philly on the 19th of Feb. and will also venture to Atlantic City with a few of his friends from KC, so I am sure he will enjoy himself and I hope he hits it big. He can't wait to have a real Philly Cheese Steak and says he plans to get one on the first day. It doesn't go with our diet but he says he can't pass that up, I don't blame him on that.

February 15th is a very special day for me and I plan to spend the evening with my dad. He adopted me on that day 18 years ago and I am very greatful for that, I love having him as my dad. We are going to dinner for some seafood and I plan to spend as much time with him as I can as well. Dad has also offered to fly us home when we are ready and I am very thankful that he would do that for us.

I can't wait to see everyone and I am counting down the days. I will see you all soon and Eric can't wait to come back in April. Love you all and we miss you very much!!!

Jimmy's Bat

Jimmy made this bat today out of his hand prints and was able to glue them by himself. I thought he did a great job and it is very cute.

Buzzy the Bumble Bee

This is Buzzy the Bumble Bee that Jimmy made today in preschool. It is not actually on colored paper, but I wanted the wings to show up. He makes the bee fly around the room making buzzing sounds. He is learning how to glue and is doing a great job.

The Proposal

I just got a marriage proposal today from someone who was not Eric. As cute as this guy is, I could not refuse and I proudly excepted...sorry Eric. Jimmy did not get on one knee but he had a big smile on his face and looked me in the eyes as he held on to my face and said, "Marry me Mommy!" When I told him of course I would marry him he placed his blanket on my head like a veil. He does the cutest things and looks as though he may give his daddy a run for his money.

Goldilocks Picture

This is a picture Jimmy colored in preschool. I have now added a Jimmy's Preschool blog for all to see. I haven't figured out how to get the pictures on that one, but you can read about what he is doing in school.

Children Are Wonderful

Last night Eric and I were laying in bed talking (which is where most of our talking takes place since the TV is turned off) about our children. We started discussing the fact that we would really like one more to complete our family when Eric asked me if I thought I would go crazy with a third. I sat there for a moment thinking about his concern and then told him, "No, I would not go crazy."

These are my reasons why:

1. The kids can do things that can really try my patience and I may be upset at them one second, all it take is the smile and "I Love You Mommy" and all the things they have done just melts away.
2. Watching them interact with each other and seeing Taylor love on Jimmy just shows the compassion that Eric and I have instilled in them, makes everything all worthwhile.
3. All the pictures I receive throughout the day from my little artists makes you take a step back and remember to not let the little everyday worries get you down.
4. Watching them learn or figure out something new is the best thing a parent can witness. To see your child so happy through their accomplishments, there is nothing better than that.

So do I think I will have crazy days? I most definately will, but I know at the end of each day there will be three "I love you Mommy's", three gorgeous smiles, many loving moments, more pictures and story than I have room for and tons of accomplishments throughout the day. To me, that is what makes parenthood worthwhile.

I Reached the Dark Tower

I just finished the last book of "The Dark Tower" series by Stephen King. I was a little said that it ended, it has been apart of my life for the last year. I have been reading Stephen King since 9th grade and started the journey to the Dark Tower by accident. I had finished a book and decided to buy a new one, the only problem I had read all the ones that the store had to offer except for one, "The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger." I decided to buy it even though I had no interest in reading it...I am not into westerns and that is exactly what I thought this would be about. OMG...I could not put down the book and finished it by the second night.

To keep the series going a little longer after I would finish a book I would buy another King book to read in between. When I realized that I have read 14 books in a year I was shocked, I don't think I have ever read that much, but I couldn't wait to get to the next one. Roland, Jake, Susannah, Eddie and Oy seemed to take me on their journey as well...I actually felt like the kid from the movie "The Never Ending Story", which is exactly what this book is.

I would never write about this, except these books are that good. They have everything that people like...mystery, western, love story, murder, magic, friends (ka-tet), sci-fiction and fantasy. I believe King wrote this series (he started at nineteen years old) for everyone, as I think everyone would love it. He finished the last three books after he was hit by a car in June of 1999, he thought it was a wake up call that he might not be able to finish the journey if he didn't do it quickly. Mr. King, I am so glad that you did.

I have five books to go before I am finished with all of the Stephen King books (tears) and do not know what I will do when I am done, since he is talking about retiring. I will probably go back and start over. I have looked for another writer as good as him, but I cannot find one. There is only one book that I have read beginning to end from another author since I have started Stephen King's books, but forgot their name and it still did not compare.

I am actually writing this to tell everyone who reads it, take some time out and read this series, it will be worth your time. Before this I loved his series "The Green Mile," this blows that one out of the water, and I love "The Green Mile." I will never write about a book(s) again, but like I said before, these are just that good.

The Question

Why is it that when you take kids to a furniture store they have to jump on every single piece of furniture that the place has? Plus, I've noticed that they become deaf at the same time. I don't understand.

We decided to do some furniture shopping today and ended up in 4 different places before we found what we actually wanted. Every single store we went in, Jimmy acted as if we had taken him to the park. He jumped from couch to couch, jumped on each bed, crawled under every table and ran through every rug display that was hanging up. When we called him to come to us he all of a sudden lost his hearing and couldn't hear us because he wouldn't even look in our direction.

As Eric had someone helping him with the dresser we were looking at he told Taylor and me to go find living room furniture, (couch, loveseat, tables, lamps) so that is exactly what we did. Walking through the displays should have been so easy, you see something you like, sit for a second, push the cushions with your hands, look at the price...not so easy when you have Tater Chip with you. That girl had to sit in every single chair and anytime a sales persons walks over to you and asks that same question every time, "Can I help you find something?" Little Ms. Tay Tay would be the first to speak up and explain exactly what she was looking for...note, I'm smacking myself in the head at this point.

Okay, now it's off to find Eric and Jimmy again. Eric is standing by the dresser we decided to buy waiting for the lady that had been helping us, Jimmy, nowhere to be found. After I take a quick glance around and do not see him, panic starts to set in. I search around the area and call his name, nothing. I go back to Eric and call Jimmy's name one more time when I hear muffled giggling, all of a sudden an armoire doors burst open and out jumps Jimmy. That's it, my head is pounding and I'm so sick of Rooms to Go, I want to go home and get my children out of this place. I told Eric, we'll come back another day and get things we want for the living room...when we have someone to watch the kids.

Lordy, Lordy, Look Who's...29???

On January 7, 1962 Marion and Linda brought a beautiful baby girl into this world who would one day become my mom. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and wish I was there to spend it with you. I am very grateful that God gave me such a wonderful, loving and caring mom like you. You have been there for me every step of my life and have never once turned away even when I tested you to the limits, but I am sure Tammy is glad I put a couple gray hairs on your head...it's kids like me that keep her in business.

Being a young single mother like you were could not have been easy, but all I remember from my childhood is all the love that you provided, you are the best mother out there. I know you fought for me when I was young and finally got me away from the people who hurt me and you. I know why you did the things you did now that I am a parent, protecting your children is the number one priority. You have helped me through this difficult year and never once condemmed me for the actions that were taken, you stood by my side and lended me your support when I needed it. You have been a great mother-in-law to Eric, and he appreciates that as well, as we talked about it the other night. You are a great Nani and are wonderful to my (our) children, you spoil them rotten, just as you did to all of us. You are such a special person, I hope I'm half the mother you are to me. Thank you for all that you have done and will do in the future, you have raise three children that love you with all their hearts.

Baby Izabel is on Her Way

We are awaiting the arrivial of Izabel. She will be making here debut sometime this month. Her proud parents, Greg and Alisha, are my cousins and Izabel will be their first child. Congrats to both of you. I will be posting more on Izabel when she finally arrives. I hope your baby shower goes off without a hitch (you never know, Izabel may decide she needs to open the presents herself) and you receive everything that you need. Love you all and wish you nothing but the best.

Just Like Grandpa Ky-Ky

Jimmy spent almost an hour and a half acting like Grandpa Ky-Ky this afternoon. He vacuumed, washed the outside, inside and wheels of his Jeep. He was carrying on a long conversation with Grandpa Ky-Ky like he was right there with him. This had to be one of the cutest things that I have seen him do. Grandpa Ky-Ky would be so proud of how good he cleaned his car, just like he showed him many times. He loves you a lot Kyle and misses you as well.

We're Coming Home!!

We have decided to pospone our trip to KC in January so we can stay longer in February. Eric will be in Philly the middle of that month and the kids and I will make our journey there the beginning of the month. We are planning on staying for a few weeks and can't wait to see everyone.

Poppa and Nani are planning a trip at the end of January, so we want to be here to see them. We are so excited for your trip and can't wait to see you guys and Rocky.

Greg and Alisha, I really wanted to make your baby shower but I promise to come visit you when I get in town, by then I will be able to see Izabel in person. I wish you two the best, you both will make excellent parents, Izabel is very lucky.

We are still waiting on the word from the midwest district manager for United to see if Eric is getting transfered to the Lenexa store, we are crossing our fingers. Florida is a great place, but we all want to be back with our family. Eric is a little sad that he won't be with us this trip but plans to come back the next time we come, probably April or May.

Nick, I am so excited to see you play live and I am so proud of you. I am also happy that you are getting studio time and will be recording a CD soon. I did download my own CD of the songs off your website and I have told you many time Controlled Chaos is an awesome song, I can't wait to hear your new stuff. Love you bunches.

Just one more month and we will be home for awhile. I am planning on staying with my mom and Kyle, so they can spend a lot of time with the kids. I have a feeling Taylor will barely be seen except by Stephi and Brett, but she will have a blast. We'll see everyone soon and love ya all.

Happy 33rd birthday Eric & Daddy. We love you and hope you enjoy your special day.

Eric, I never imagined that I would meet and marry someone as wonderful as you. You have been a great husband and a wonderful father to our children. That fact that we have been through so much through the years and have still managed to stay so close and love each other the way we do is next to amazing. I am looking forward to all the years ahead of us and I want you to know I will always be there right by your side.

When I first met you I was just a kid and had no idea I even knew what I wanted, I'm just glad you took me in and showed me what love was all about. Though I didn't know it then, I was meant to be with you. Never did I think I would hit the jackpot on an every weekend cruise of North Oak with Angie (who I have to thank for encouraging me to get on the bike.) All these years later, look at us now, married with children (hahaha.)

I love you so much and can't wait for what's ahead on the big journey of life with you.

Happy New Year 2006

We stayed home last night and rang in the New Year with Taylor and Jimmy. Taylor was so excited to stay up until midnight and watch the ball drop and Jimmy just couldn't wait to drink "beer" (sparkling grape juice.) They both made it until 12:00 A.M., but Jimmy took one sip of his juice and started crying, "I'm sleepy," so I took him up to bed.

We all went on a picnic this afternoon to one of the many parks in Lakeland and let the kids play all afternoon. We spend a lot of time as a family now that Eric quit his second job and Chip and Jimbob love it. We had a trying last year and we are just hoping for nothing but the best this year. Happy New Year to all of our friends and family, we love you all.
